Program Overview

Ed.D. Program: Educational Leadership

The Ed.D. concentration in Educational Leadership helps school leaders develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to act as change agents in their communities, with the ability to use rigorous research to address a wide range of problems related to practice and policy.

Ed.M. in Educational Administration and Supervision (Option C)

The Ed.M. in Educational Administration and Supervision (Option C) program at the GSE is nationally certified by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and prepares candidates for positions of leadership in public and private K-12 schools and higher education institutions that do not require administrator certification.

Ed.M. in Educational Administration with Principal Certification (Option B)

The Ed.M. in Educational Administration and Supervision (Option B) program at the GSE is nationally certified by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and prepares candidates to obtain NJ principal certification.

Ed.M. in Educational Administration and Supervision with Principal and Supervisor Certification (Option A)

The Ed.M. in Educational Administration and Supervision (Option A) program at the GSE is nationally certified by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and prepares candidates to obtain NJ principal and supervisor certification.

Non-degree Principal Endorsement Program

The non-degree Principal Endorsement Program offered at the GSE is nationally certified by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and allows certified teachers to take coursework that leads to New Jersey Department of Education certification as a principal within an elementary or secondary school setting.

Non-degree School Administrator Endorsement Program

The non-degree School Administrator Endorsement Program offered at the GSE provides students with the opportunity to synthesize and apply knowledge gained in their graduate studies to develop insight into actual administrative (superintendent, assistant superintendent) practice.

Non-degree Supervisor Endorsement Program

The non-degree Supervisor Endorsement Program offered at the GSE is nationally certified by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and allows certified teachers to take coursework that leads to New Jersey Department of Education certification as a supervisor within an elementary or secondary school setting.
