Important Update

Beginning September 1, 2020, the Rutgers University–New Brunswick Office of Summer and Winter Sessions will no longer be participating in the Rutgers Gifted Education Certificate Program and conference. All inquiries should be directed to the Rutgers Graduate School of Education.

This program consists of four required courses and a culminating field assignment, for a total of 15 graduate credits.  Individuals may choose to complete one or more courses without committing to the full certificate program, but participants who have successfully completed all four courses may register for the clinical practicum placement.

Courses are offered online throughout the calendar year; the practicum placement may be tailored to the individual participant’s academic and professional goals. The full certificate program may be completed within 12 months.
